You'll soon realize once you start living in Denver, as I have for about a year, that everyone is so HEALTHY! You wonder why? The forests, mountains and lakes are literally woo-ing you to come take a step on their turf.

General tips

You will want to dress accordingly based on the season at hand!
Snowing vs. Snow Melting
Also, a pro-tip: Denver tends to snow, but it typically snows for a day, and within a week, all the snow melts!
The Altitude
If you're going to hike, be sure you're physically ready because we're in high altitudes (over 5000 feet in most places). So, you might experience altitude sickness if you're not used to it. Adjust 2-3 days before taking on a 11K feet hike up the Rocky Mountains.
