I've spent at least a week in Tokyo every year since 2007! I was also born in Tokyo and spent the first five years of my life there. I hope you'll enjoy my hometown as much as I do.

I've lived in Tokyo since 2020, and have been eating and drinking my way across the city. This list is a top selection of my favorite spots around Tokyo.

I lived in Tokyo for 10 years and explored many different places. As I love food (mainly fish and yakitori(no longer able to eat as I am pescatarian)), my guide is more catered toward people who love food.

You don't need a Nikko Pass if you rent a car, and if you have a relatively short time (i.e. 2 nights) I would recommend renting a car.
