I did sooo much research on bars, restaurants, excursions etc before this trip but of course we didn't have time for the whole list. Here are our reviews of what we did and what seems amazing that we'll get to next time!
Grab some bread, cheese and wine for a picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower
Review: Ugh, living in Paris must be so amazing. Every night the park was parked with people drinking wine, playing games, listening to music, dancing...It was goddamn magical.
Review: Do this!! We are not huge art history buffs but wanted to see the major works in the Louvre and this was PERFECT for that. You got to see the important stuff but didn't have to dedicate an entire day to it.
Tootbus Paris, bus hop-on hop-off
Bus tour agency
Corporate office
Don't hate- This was 10/10 would do again. This was the very first thing we did in Paris because it's a big city and it really helped us get our bearings, pick some neighborhoods to check out, and see some big sights we wouldn't have otherwise had time for.
They also run constantly and your ticket is for a 1-2-3 day duration so you can straight up use the Toot Bus to get around the city your whole trip. We used it plus the subway. There are usually groupons and discounts if you look for them.
Extra Stuff We Didn't Have Time For: Paris Excursions
Paris Iconic Neighborhoods Guided Walking Tour 1.5 hours $25 ea
Review: Ok, we TRIED to do this, but there was a 2+ hour line for the balloon so we wandered the park instead. It's kind of out of the way, so this one is skippable unless you're really dying to get on that balloon. I think it was a Tuesday morning when we tried.

Cruise agency
[Already booked] Tuesday 9/5 9:00AM-6:00PM Mount Rigi + Lake Lucerne Cruise + Mineralbath Spa, self-guided
Review: This ruled. Mt. Rigi is the big boy out of the two we went to. The boatride was gorgeous (but crowded on the way there!) and the cogwheel train was nifty. We took it all the way to the top, then walked down to the spa because we did a bad job timing the tram. There was an adorable little mountainside (literally) cafe run by some old Swiss guys where we got a snack and beer. The walk took about 35 min I think but you should wear actual sneakers- I ate shit in my sandals. Lots of people were legit hiking up and down the mountain so if you're into that you could certainly make a whole day out of it.
The spa was awesome, would definitely do again. We took the cable car back down the mountain and it was very crowded, like 50 people.

Fräkmüntegg
Ridge
10:00AM-5:30PM Summer Toboggan 9 CHF each. Cable car Kreins -> Frakmuntegg costs about $45 USD ea. (book on SBB)
Dragon Glider zipline that delivers you to Drachenalp a counter service restaurant. 8 min walk back to Frakmuntegg station. 10 CHF each
There is also a restaurant right next to Frakmuntegg Station called Restaurant Frakmuntegg. It looks nice and kind of cafeteria like- Like Ikea.
To get to toboggan: From Lucerne main station: Take bus no. 1 in the direction of Kriens-Obernau. Get off at the "Zentrum Pilatus" stop. Then follow the red signs to the valley station of the Pilatus cable car in Kriens. Take the cable car to the 2nd station Fräkmüntegg. Follow the signs to the toboggan run. There is a snack bar up there. They hold onto your bags for safety reasons but they tow you back up.
Review: This also ruled. It was pretty easy to get to using free public bus and then walking to the cable car spot. It's only 2-4 people per car. When you get to frakmuntegg, it's pretty quick to get on the tobaggan which is SO MUCH FUN. They even give you a chest strap so you can film on your phone hands free. The dragon glider was fun, too. Plenty of places to get food and drinks as well.

I reallyyyyy wanted to take a train and check out Interlaken but we didn't have time. We did spend an afternoon in Zurich before our train departed and it honestly wasn't nearly as nice as Lucerne. It was a much bigger busier city which made it feel less special.
