Hyatt place Portland is VERY central and dog friendly and the view from the corner rooms is awesome! Harbor side hotel, spa, marina in bar harbor is PHENOMENAL, right on the harbor in front of the land bridge and a very short drive to Acadia. I believe also pet friendly:) also in BH, there’s a delicious wine & cheesecake tasting place (I don’t remember the name but it’s the only one) and the traveling lobster is a bit of a drive but hands down the best lobster roll (coming from a New Englander)
